Nasi Berlauk by Chef Wan


•3 cups Primera Red Rice washed

•7.5 cups prawn stock

•1 nos big onions diced

•6 cloves garlic chopped finely

•1 can (12 Oz) Italian tomatoes crushed

•15 nos green olives

•2 tbsp paprika powder

•500 gm mixed seafood

•1 handful chopped Italian Parsley

•A few basil leaves •2 cups peas

•1 nos capsicum cut to big cubes

•10 nos french beans cut in half

•1 tsp saffron

•1 cup olive oil

•Salt and Pepper


1) Heat oil, fry garlic and onions till fragrant.

2)Add seafood and fry for a few minutes

3)Add paprika, olives, capsicum, French beans, and fry for a few minutes.

4)Add crushed tomato, parsley, basil leaves, seafood stock, salt, pepper, and saffron thread.

5)Bring stock slowly to a boil and rice has totally absorbed them before lowering heat and cover the rice leaving it to cook for another 10 minutes.

6)Serve rice immediately
