Red Sago Kuih


  • Primera Red Rice
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Pandan Leaves
  • Sago


Preparing the rice

  1. Wash ½  cup Primera red rice
  2. Drain the water completely
  3. Add in 1 cups water
  4. Cook as usual

Prepare the Kuih

  1. In a pot add 800 mL of water, 4 pandan leaves and 80 grams of brown sugar.
  2. Mixed well and bring it to boil.
  3. Add 200 grams of sago and mixed well.
  4. Add in ½ cup of cooked Primera red rice.
  5. Mixed well and cooked between 3-5 minutes.
  6. Removed pandan leaves and steam for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve with roasted coconut flake and chocolate sauce.
