Dana Uji Beli (DUB) MySTI is a funding initiative by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), managed by MMTDC, to support locally developed R&D products. The programme enables companies to deploy their products on a trial basis within government agencies, facilitating market validation and procurement opportunities for local technologies.

Under this fund, Nomatech has conducted a project titled Community Testing Introduction of Primera Rice to Diabetic Patients at Klinik Kesihatan Seksyen 7, Shah Alam (completed) and Klinik Primer, HCTM Cheras (ongoing).

The I-BAP (Program Business Accelerator untuk Syarikat Milikan India) is a targeted SME Corp Malaysia grant aiding Indian-owned small businesses with up to 50% matching grants for machinery, ICT, ESG, certification and marketing. Primera Rice has been received Certificate of Recognition for the Malaysian Goods Logo by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN). By proudly carrying the Malaysian Goods Logo, Primera Rice reinforces its dedication to supporting local industries and promoting homegrown products, contributing to the nation's economic growth and consumer trust.

Primera Rice has clinched victory in the Health Food category at the prestigious Malaysia Health & Wellness Brand Awards 2023 organised by Sin Chew Daily and Life Magazine.  The prestigious award was presented by Dr. Zaliha Binti Mustafa, the Minister of Health Malaysia.

The National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) was first announced as part of the Short-Term Recovery Plan (PENJANA) in June 2020. NTIS relaxes certain regulatory requirements to accelerate the development of innovation from the R&D stage to being commercially ready.

Project Title: Commercialisation of High Yielding and Low Glycemic Index Rice Varieties to Agro-entrepreneurs and Farmers

UKM scientists with the cooperation of Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) research officers successfully introgressed beneficial genes from  wild rice (Oryza rufipogon) into a local mega variety, MR219 and developed 4  white rice varieties and 2 red rice varieties of high yield and good resistance to diseases. All 6 rice varieties were registered as New Plant Variety on 16 September 2009.
